Bobblehead Grandma

These were the trophies for the annual family scavenger hunt around the upper peninsula of Wisconsin. My cousin enlisted me after he had someone scan her with an XBOX 360 and printed the pieces at home with his desktop 3D printer. He put this project together over the course of many months in 2022.

Grandma and my cousin kept it a secret from the whole family, even me, until I was asked to paint and assemble them. My uncle Carl didn’t participate in the hunt that year, so I gave him a sneak peek.

I used model paint for everything and hit the letters and lion pendants with my 18 karat gold leafing pen.
